Online Profile Tips
• Your profile at RunwayRivarly.com is the first impression people have of you in this competition. Make sure it’s professional.
• No grammar or spelling errors.
• Images taken with a cell phone are very poor quality, and using them in your profile makes you look unprofessional. Get a friend or parent to snap some shots of you, or ask a stranger in the street.
• Don’t use 5 year old photos. We can tell.
• Don’t crop out the person standing next to you. We can tell that, too.
Casting Call Tips
• No chewing gum or eating.
• Ladies, wear high-heeled shoes. Gentlemen, wear dressy shoes like polished loafers or Kenneth Cole style slip on’s. Absolutely no tennis shoes for anyone.
• Wear form fitting clothing so the judges can see your shape. Jeans are acceptable if you dress them up with nice shoes and an appropriate top.
• Absolutely no hats of any kind.
• Please do your hair and make-up.
• Maintain good posture and good eye contact throughout the casting call.
• Show judges you are having fun and you want to be there. You’re always being watched, so act as though you’re always being judged.
• Have a good attitude. It’s important!
